Nero has announced the latest version of their popular software suite is the first to be certified for AVCHD (Advanced Video Code High Definition Standard) creation and playback. AVCHD was developed by Sony and Panasonic for high definition camcorders to deliver outstanding high definition video. Once an AVCHD disc is created using the software, it can be played back on either the user's PC, or an AVCHD capable player like the PS3 or Panasonic DMP-BD10.
The software helps users add menus and create chapters to give a professional feel to their home movies. For owners of a AVCHD camcorder and Blu-ray player, getting professional looking home movies has just gotten easier.
