Marvel Entertainment has released a brand new teaser trailer for James Gunn's upcoming film Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 (2017), starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper, and Vin Diesel. Currently, the film is set to open in theaters across the nation on May 5, 2017.
Also included with this announcement is the official new theatrical poster for the upcoming film.
Plot description: Set to the backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2' continues the team's adventures as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill's true parentage.
In the United States, the first Guardians of the Galaxy film is already out on Blu-ray courtesy of Walt Disney Home Entertainment. You can see our listings and reviews of the 2D and 3D Blu-ray releases here and here.
