British label 88 Films has revealed that it will add two new titles to its Blu-ray catalog: Mark Goldblatt's
Dead Heat (1988) and Jeff Lieberman'S
Just Before Dawn (1981).
Dead Heat
Synopsis: Violent criminals who can't be killed are shooting up Los Angeles, and the investigation leads L.A.P.D. detectives Roger Mortis (Treat Williams) and Doug Bigelow (Joe Piscopo) to a mysterious pharmaceutical firm. But when Mortis is suddenly murdered, his coroner girlfriend and loose cannon partner discover the company's resurrection machine that turns Roger into the walking dead. Just Before Dawn
Synopsis: Five youths set out for a weekend camping excursion, to drink, frolic and skinny-dip on an isolated piece of land one of them has inherited. Despite ominous warnings from local forest rangers, strange backwoods families and a hollering drunken hunter claiming to have witnessed his friends' evisceration by the hands of "Demons", they trek further into the foliage.
