Kino Lorber have confirmed that they plan to bring to Blu-ray director Henry Koster's film
No Highway in the Sky (1951), starring James Stewart, Marlene Dietrich, Glynis Johns, Jack Hawkins, and Janette Scott. The release is expected to arrive on the market early next year.
Synopsis: Jimmy Stewart stars as an aeronautical engineer who predicts that a new type of airplane will fail catastrophically after a certain amount of time in the air, and then finds himself on board one of the doomed planes while headed to a crash site. Cinematography by Georges Périnal (
