Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has officially announced that it will release on Blu-ray Better Call Saul: The Complete Second Season. The release will be available for purchase on November 15.
This critically acclaimed hit prequel to the Emmy-winning pop culture phenomenon Breaking Bad continues to lay the groundwork for Jimmy McGill's metamorphosis from small-time, hustling attorney into legendary criminal lawyer Saul Goodman. Season Two finds Jimmy leaving shortcuts behind for his budding romance with Kim, but with his upstanding brother Chuck keeping watch and disgraced cop Mike drawn into a menacing cartel web, how long can "Slippin' Jimmy" stay on the straight and narrow?
Ripe with fan-favorite Breaking Bad backstories, Better Call Saul: Season Two stars Bob Odenkirk (TV's "Breaking Bad") as Jimmy McGill, Jonathan Banks (TV's "Breaking Bad") as Mike Ehrmantraut, and Michael McKean (This Is Spinal Tap) as Chuck McGill. The AMC drama series, produced by Sony Pictures Television, comes from creators Vince Gilligan & Peter Gould, and executive producers Mark Johnson, Melissa Bernstein and Thomas Schnauz. Rounding out the ensemble cast are Rhea Seehorn (TV's "Franklin & Bash"), Patrick Fabian (The Last Exorcism) and Michael Mando (TV's "Orphan Black").
Synopsis: Season Two of Better Call Saul follows the twists and turns of Jimmy McGill's (Bob Odenkirk) journey toward becoming his Breaking Bad alter ego, along the way soaring to new heights and sinking to new lows. Jimmy grows closer to confidante Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn), while his relationship with afflicted brother Chuck McGill (Michael McKean) becomes increasingly complex. Mike (Jonathan Banks) finds himself pulled deeper into the criminal underworld. As Jimmy evolves (or regresses) toward "it's all good man," he's faced with impossible choices that foreshadow his future. Back stories are further revealed, along with new characters and nods to the Breaking Bad universe.
