British label Second Sight will add to its Blu-ray catalog director Lionel Jeffries' film
The Amazing Mr Blunden (1972), starring Laurence Naismith, Graham Crowden, Dorothy Alison, James Villiers, Stuart Lock, Madeline Smith, and Diana Dors. The release will be available for purchase on December 5.
Synopsis: Near destitute after the death of her husband, a widow and her young children are approached by an elderly and mysterious solicitor, Mr. Blunden (Laurence Naismith), who asks the family to become the caretakers of a derelict, partly fire-damaged country mansion. The family takes up the offer and shortly after moving into a small cottage on the mansion's estate the youngsters, Jamie (Gary Miller) and Lucy (Lynne Frederick), meet up with a pair of ghosts, Sara (Rosalyn Landor) and Georgie (Marc Granger), two children who were killed in the fire at the mansion one hundred years ago.
