Kino Lorber have dated their upcoming Blu-ray releases of H. Bruce Humberstone's film I Wake Up Screaming a.k.a. Hot Spot (1941), starring starring Betty Grable, Victor Mature, Carole Landis, Laird Cregar, and William Gargan, and Preston Sturges' film The Beautiful Blonde from Bashful Bend (1949), starring Betty Grable, Cesar Romero, Rudy Vallée, Olga San Juan, and Porter Hall. The two releases will be available for purchase on November 1.

I Wake Up Screaming

Synopsis: Frankie Christopher is a sports promoter who's in the hot seat, relentlessly grilled by a ruthless detective after the murder of a fashion model he made famous. Weighing even more heavily against him is the fact that he's in love with the dead girl's sister. But Frankie's not the only suspect in this taut expose of New York's cafe society. The detective also obsessively pursues Frankie's partner, a gossip columnist, and a hotel night clerk.

Special Features:
  • Audio commentary by film noir historian Eddie Muller
The Beautiful Blonde from Bashful Bend

Synopsis: Wild six gun farce set in the old West about a hot-tempered saloon entertainer who's as quick with a pistol as she is to kick up her heels. Cinematography by Harry Jackson (Way of a Gaucho, Halls of Montezuma). Music by Cyril J. Mockridge (The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance).
