Kino Lorber have confirmed that they will release on Blu-ray dierctor Henri Verneuil's crime thriller
The Sicilian Clan (1969), starring Jean Gabin, Alain Delon, Lino Ventura, Irina Demick, and Sydney Chaplin. The release is expected to arrive on the market later this year.
Synopsis: A Sicilian family, headed by Vittorio Manalese, plan to steal a cache of diamonds. Roger Senet, in prison for murder, is hired for the job and sprung with the help of the family. However, once the caper is successfully carried out, Senet finds himself on the wrong side of the clan when they discover that he has been having an affair with Manalese's daughter-in-law. Based on the popular novel by Auguste Le Breton. Soundtrack by Ennio Morricone.
