Kino Lorber will release on Blu-ray Brazilian writer-director Gabriel Mascaro's second fiction feature Neon Bull (2015), starring Juliano Cazarré, Maeve Jinkings, and Josinaldo Alves. The release will be available for purchase on September 6.
Winner of the Special Jury Prize at the Venice Film Festival.
Synopsis: Wild, sensual and utterly transporting, Brazilian writer-director Gabriel Mascaro's second fiction feature unfolds within the world of the vaquejada, a traditional exhibition sport in which cowboys try to pull bulls to the ground by their tails. Neon Bull explores the vaquejada through the eyes of Iremar (Juliano Cazarre), a handsome cowboy who works the events.
