BluFocus Adds THX Certification

BluFocus, a leading Blu-ray Disc quality assurance verifier, has announced that they will now offer support for post-production verification of THX certified Blu-ray titles. THX has partnered with BluFocus in order to ensure that the standards they have established are adhered to for all Blu-ray releases carrying the THX certification.
Rick Dean, vice president of technology development at THX, commented, "BluFocus has created a compelling suite of post-production and BD design and mastering services, all dedicated to improving the Blu-ray experience. Our partnership with BluFocus aims to provide the Blu-ray content community with the tools to maximize picture and sound quality, improve device interoperability, and drive the end-user's enjoyment of the format's rich, interactive features."
