Amazon Blu-ray Deal of the Week: Jurassic Park Collection

Amazon's Blu-ray Deal of the Week affects Universal Home Entertainment's three-film Jurassic Park Collection. Through June 18th, Amazon is offering the package at a 47% discount from its respective Amazon MSRP.

The brainchild of director Steven Spielberg and the late author Michael Crichton, the Jurassic Park series is one of the most iconic movie franchises of the last thirty years; these films show how the dream of billionaire developer John Hammond (Richard Attenborough) to genetically engineer actual dinosaurs for public exhibition turns into a nightmare, as the creatures' animal - and often violent - nature quickly puts those humans around them in grave danger.

The three films that comprise this particular Jurassic Park Blu-ray collection are:

• Jurassic Park (1993)
• The Lost World (1997)
• Jurassic Park III (2001)

The seven-disc set offers the three features alongside behind-the-scenes documentaries, cast/crew interviews, archival footage, and an audio commentary on Jurassic Park III. In addition, the package has an empty space to include a separate copy of last year's box-office smash Jurassic World.
