For the week that ended on June 5th, Lionsgate Home Entertainment's Gods of Egypt premiered at the top of the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales lists. This fantasy extravaganza - the latest from Dark City director Alex Proyas - was a box-office flop when it debuted last February. Gods of Egypt only grossed just over $31 million domestically on top of its estimated $140-million production budget, and it scored a low 23% favorability rating on Metacritic. This week, Gods of Egypt had a Blu-ray market share of 45%.

Next on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media charts was Twentieth Century Home Entertainment's Deadpool. Director Tim Miller's raunchy action-comedy was a huge success when it premiered last February. Deadpool grossed over $762 million worldwide on top of its estimated $53-million production budget, and it scored an 65% favorability rating on Metacritic. In terms of sales percentages, Deadpool sold 86% as many Blu-rays as Gods of Egypt (and had a Blu-ray market share of 59%) and 66% as many total units.

Finally, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment's Pride and Prejudice and Zombies rounded out the top three positions on the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media rankings. An adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith's Jane Austen-zombie mashup, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies struggled to make any significant impact when it hit theaters last December. The film grossed just $16 million worldwide on top of its modest $28-million production budget, and it scored a middling 45% favorability rating on Metacritic. On the Blu-ray-only list, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies sold 33% as many discs as Gods of Egypt and had a Blu-ray market share of 47%. Regarding the overall package-media chart, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies sold 32% as many total units as the CGI-heavy epic.
