Lionsgate Films has released an official U.S. teaser trailer for Peter Berg's upcoming film Deepwater Horizon (2016), starring Mark Wahlberg, Kurt Russell, Kate Hudson, John Malkovich, and Dylan O'Brien. The film is set to open in theaters across the nation on September 30.
Official studio synopsis: On April 20th, 2010, the world's largest man-made disaster occurred on the Deepwater Horizon in the Gulf of Mexico. Directed by Peter Berg (Lone Survivor), this story honors the brave men and women whose heroism would save many on board, and change everyone's lives forever.
