The British Film Institute has confirmed that it will release on Blu-ray director Richard Loncraine's film
Richard III (1995), starring Ian McKellen, Annette Bening, Jim Broadbent, Robert Downey Jr., and Maggie Smith. The release will be available for purchase on May 23.
Nominated for Oscar Awards for Best Art Direction-Set Decoration (Tony Burrough) and Best Costume Design (Shuna Harwood). Winner of Silver Bear Award for Best Director at the Berlinale.
Synopsis: In 1930's Britain, a savage, civil war between two royal families has just concluded.
