Trailers for New Restorations and Remasters from Cohen Media

Cohen Media has sent us trailers four recently restored/remastered films: Val Guest's Jigsaw (1962), Jacques Deray's Le Gang (1977), Philippe de Broca's Le Bossu a.k.a. On Guard (1997), and Patrice Leconte's Love Street (2002). The four films are expected to transition to Blu-ray early next year.
Jack Warner, Ronald Lewis and Yolande Donlan star in this drama written, produced and directed by Val Guest. When a woman is found murdered in Brighton it is left to two local detectives, Sergeant Wilks (Lewis) and Inspector Fellows (Warner), to piece together the clues, solve the crime and catch the killer.
In 1945, as World War Two comes to a close, five small time crooks unite to form a gang. After several bold robberies they become notorious. The police attempt to stop their crime spree with little success, but how long will their luck last? Starring Alain Delon, Roland Bertin, Raymond Bussières, Laura Betti, and Nicole Calfan.
1997 adaptation of the 1858 novel by Paul Feval. After meeting his hero, the wealthy Duc de Nevers (Vincent Perez), in Paris, swordsman Legardere (Daniel Auteuil) becomes his sworn protector. Nevers' life is under threat from his cousin, Gonzague (Fabrice Luchini), who has employed an assassin to get rid of him. When Nevers arrives in Caylus to wed Blanche (Claire Nebout), the mother of his child, he and his guests are slaughtered. Blanche is kidnapped by Gonzague, but Legardere escapes, taking with him Nevers' young daughter, Aurore. Sixteen years later, Aurore (Marie Gillain) is unaware of her parentage until she and Legardere arrive again in Paris, where Gonzague is now a powerful banker.
