For the week that ended on December 6th, Pixar and Disney's Inside Out returned to the top spot on both the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media charts. Pixar's whimsical animated comedy about the emotions that govern the mind of a young girl proved one of this summer's most enduring favorites; critics rapturously embraced the film (to the tune of a 94% score on Metacritic), and audiences responded strongly as well, given Inside Out's worldwide gross of $855 million. This week, Inside Out had a Blu-ray market share of 44%.

Next up on the the Blu-ray-only and overall package-media sales lists was Universal Studios Home Entertainment's Jurassic World. The latest installment in Universal and Steven Spielberg's hugely successful box-office franchise, Jurassic World is one of 2015's biggest hits. Despite only garnering average critical notices (the film has a 59% score on Metacritic), it grossed over $651 million domestically and $1.6 billion worldwide, totals that made it the highest grossing picture (so far) of the year. Furthermore, it's already distinguished itself on home-media platforms, earning $82.6 million in its first week on home-media - industry analysts have predicted that Jurassic World could become the highest-selling Blu-ray-and-DVD title of 2015, as well as the industry's biggest - full-stop - live-action Blu-ray title AND Universal's biggest digital release. Jurassic World had a Blu-ray market share of 56% and sold 93% as many Blu-rays as Inside Out and 72% as many total units.

And that viewer interest has extended further along: Universal's four-film Jurassic Park Collection has taken the third spot on the Blu-ray-only charts. The boxset - which has an HD market share of 93% - sold 77% as many Blu-rays as Inside Out. On the overall package-media chart, the package came in fifth place (selling 36% as many total units as the Pixar hit), with the holiday favorite Elf coming in at number three (and having a Blu-ray market share of 22%) and selling 47% as many total units as Inside Out.
