Classic Media and DreamWorks Animation have announced a problem has been
encountered by some consumers with the disc featuring
Santa Claus is Comin' to
Town, included as part of
The Original
Christmas Classics Anniversary Collector's Edition. The picture briefly fades on
some of the discs, and the label has set up a toll free number for those who want to receive
replacement discs. If those who have purchased the set encounter this anomaly, the can
call 1-888-223-4369 to request a replacement.
Update (11/28/15): The PR firm handling this issue has been contacted about the potentially incorrect phone number listed above, but due to the holiday weekend, we may not hear back from them until Monday.
Update (11/30/15): The toll free number listed above is in fact correct. Fox distributes this title for DreamWorks. Those who called last week probably dealt with Customer Service personnel not yet in the loop on the replacement discs being offered by DreamWorks and Classic Media.
