StudioCanal have announced that they will release on Blu-ray acclaimed director Alain Resnais' classic film Hiroshima Mon Amour (1959), starring Emmanuelle Riva, Eiji Okada, and Stella Dassas. The release will be available for purchase on January 18, 2016.
Hiroshima, Mon Amour was recently restored in 4K by Argos Films, Technicolor and Groupama Gan Foundations, and Cineteca di Bologna, with the support of CNC. The new restoration was screened in the Classics section of the Cannes Film Festival.
A French actress and a Japanese architect have an affair while the actress is making a movie in Hiroshima.
