Earlier this year, Walt Disney CEO Bob Iger announced that two Star Wars-themed parks will be built at Disney World in Orlando, Florida, and Disneyland in Anaheim, California. Today, it was announced that, starting December 1, guests visiting Disney's Hollywood Studios will have the opportunity to explore the Star Wars galaxy via Launch Bay, which will offer different behind-the-scenes peeks, special exhibits, and even the opportunity to meet Chewbacca and Darth Vader.
Star Tours – The Adventures Continue will offer a new adventure experience inspired by the upcoming film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple will also open in early December and take visitors to an ancient Jedi temple where they will face Darth Vader and Seventh Sister, a new villain from the Disney XD series "Star Wars Rebels."
Star Wars: Path of the Jedi will feature complete sequences from the Star Wars saga and will give first-time visitors a chance to learn more about the classic films.
In the United States, the Star Wars films are available on Blu-ray courtesy of Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. You can see our listing and review of Star Wars: The Complete Sagahere.
