Technicolor Adds European Blu-ray Production Lines

Thomson's Technicolor Services Division has launch four Blu-ray production lines in their Warsaw, Poland facility. Even though these represent the company's first Blu-ray production lines in Europe, they are now the second largest producer of Blu-ray discs on the continent. The plant is currently set up to handle both BD-25 and BD-50 discs.
Robert Sweet, SVP of Technicolor Home Entertainment Services Europe, commented, "This significant investment in Blu-ray mastering and replication capacity will allow us to deliver this new format with maximum flexibility and efficiency for our key customers in Europe."
