Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment has officially announced that it will release on Blu-ray Noah Baumbach's film Mistress America (2015), starring Greta Gerwig, Lola Kirke, Seth Barrish, Michael Chernus, and Cindy Cheung. The release will be available for purchase on December 1.
Official synopsis: In writer-director Noah Baumbach's Mistress America, Tracy (Lola Kirke) is a lonely college freshman in New York, having neither the exciting university experience nor the glamorous metropolitan lifestyle she envisioned. But when she is taken in by her soon-to-be stepsister, Brooke (Greta Gerwig) – a proud resident of Times Square and adventurous gal about town – she is rescued from her disappointment and seduced by Brooke's alluringly mad schemes. This modern screwball comedy is about dream-chasing and score-settling, make-shift families and cat stealing.
