Initially announced earlier this year, Syntax Brillian has revealed that they will release their first Blu-ray Disc player - the
Olevia BD-100 - this October. If specs remain unchanged from the original announcement, this player is based on the
Sharp BD-HP20 (or possible now the
BD-HP21) and will be featured at discount stores such as Target.
Besides a price point of $299, no additional information is known about this player at this time.
