Vincent Cassel (Dobermann, Brotherhood of the Wolf) will play the villain in director Paul Greengrass' upcoming Bourne film. According to Variety, which broke the news, the French star will play an assassin tracking Bourne.
At the moment there are no details about the plot of the upcoming film, but Universal plans to have it in theaters across the nation on July 29, 2016.
In addition to Cassel and Matt Damon, who will reprise his role as Jason Bourne, the cast includes Julia Stiles, Alicia Vikander and Tommy Lee Jones.
Thus far, Damon has appeared in three Bourne films: Doug Liman's The Bourne Identity, and Greengrass' The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum. In the United States, all three are currently available on Blu-ray courtesy of Universal Studios Home Entertainment. Please click on the links to see our listings and reviews of these releases.
