Magnolia Home Entertainment has officially announced and detailed its upcoming Blu-ray release of director Ekachai Uekrongtham's action thriller Skin Trade (2014), starring Dolph Lundgren, Tony Jaa, Ron Perlman, Michael Jai White, and Celina Jade. The release will be available for purchase on August 25.
Co-written and co-produced by Lundgren and directed by Ekachai Uekrongtham (Beautiful Boxer), SKIN TRADE is set in the dangerous Bangkok underworld. Detective Nick Cassidy (Lundgren) is on the hunt for Viktor Dragovic (Perlman), the deadly human trafficker who attempted to murder his family. Blinded by vengeance, no matter the cost, Cassidy is also being pursued by an FBI agent (White) tasked with bringing him home, alongside a local detective (Jaa) who is suspicious of Cassidy's motives. Tensions mount and motives are revealed as the three law enforcement officers intersect to take down Dragovic and end his despicable human trafficking network for good.
