This September, troubles are multiplying in Entertainment One's
Haven: Season 5 Vol. 1, which features the first 13 episodes of the SyFy-broadcast series' fifth season. Based on the novella "The Colorado Kid" by Stephen King,
Haven follows a former FBI agent turned cop who finds herself involved in the return of "the Troubles," a string of supernatural afflictions that have plagued her seaside village for generations. Street date is September 8th.
Synopsis:
Season 5 Vol. 1 picks up with the aftermath of our heroes' victory over William. After having successfully banished him into the Void, Nathan (Lucas Bryant) and Duke (Eric Balfour) are devastated to discover that the Audrey Parker (Emily Rose) they know and love has disappeared. In her place stands Mara, the unflinchingly malevolent "original" person responsible for creating the troubles many centuries ago. Finally freed from the confines of her do-gooder husks (Audrey, Lucy, Sarah, etc.), Mara proceeds to unleash a wave of chaos over Haven.
