Anchor Bay Entertainment has announced an extension of its distribution deal with AMC, including "Fear the Walking Dead," the new companion series to the incredibly popular The Walking Dead set to premiere in late summer 2015 with a second season airing in 2016.
The Blu-ray/DVD and digital release dates have not yet been set.
As part of the agreement, Anchor Bay Entertainment handles distribution of physical product for AMC titles to the North American market including "The Walking Dead" and "Fear the Walking Dead," while Starz Digital handles the digital release of these series on select platforms.
"Fear the Walking Dead" is an all-new original series set in Los Angeles and stars Kim Dickens (Gone Girl, "Sons of Anarchy"), Cliff Curtis (Missing, Gang Related), Frank Dillane (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince) and Alycia Debnam Carey (Into the Storm).
