In March, it was announced that the Emmy-winning show The X-Files is heading back to FOX. Earlier today, its producers revealed the first image with David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson reprising their roles as FBI Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully.
Chris Carter, who created the original series, will create and produce the new six-episode event series.
In the United States, The X-Files is currently available only on DVD. You can see our listing of the Complete Series here. However, Rob Bowman's The X Files: Fight the Future (1998) and Carter's The X Files: I Want to Believe (2008) are already out on Blu-ray, courtesy of Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.
