Media Servers Adding Blu-ray Support

While media servers are about as far away from mainstream home entertainment as you can get, they may one day be as common as the home computer. But today, they are limited to a more exclusive clientele who, not unlike mainstream consumers, are craving high definition movies on the Blu-ray format.

That is why companies such as iMuse Electronics and Inteset have announced that they will soon release Blu-ray compatible components for their media systems. Both companies will be on-hand at CEDIA this year to give demonstrations to those who are interested in adding high definition to their existing media server or purchasing a new system altogether.
