Kate Beckinsale will reprise her role as Selene in Underworld 5. Anna Foerster will direct the upcoming film, which will be based on a script by Cory Goodman.
Theo James will also return to reprise his role as Vampire David.
The film will be shot in Prague later this year.
The first Underworld film was directed by Len Wiseman in 2003. There have been three more Underworld films since then: Wiseman's Underworld: Evolution (2006), Patrick Tatopoulos' Underworld: Rise of the Lycans (2009), and Måns Mårlind and Björn Stein's Underworld: Awakening (2012).
In the United States, all four films are already out on Blu-ray courtesy of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Click here to see our listings and reviews of these releases.
