Earlier today, Kevin Smith revealed via Facebook that the title of his next film, a sequel to his popular comedy Mallrats (1995), will be called Mallbrats.
The cast of the upcoming film will include some familiar names: Stan "The Man" Lee, Michael Rooker, Renee Humphrey, Claire Forlani, Joey Lauren Adams, Scott Mosier, Jeremy London, Ethan Suplee, and Shannen Doherty, amongst others.
Mallrats was Smith's second feature film. In the United States, the film is already out on Blu-ray courtesy of Universal Studios Home Entertainment.
Here's Smith's Facebook message and the photo he posted:
"20 years in the making. 113 pages fulla old friends, new jokes and a bloody battle w/ @therealstanlee! This is for you, Jim. Wish you were here... #MallBrats."
