Lionsgate Home Entertainment and A24 Films have revealed that they will release on Blu-ray director Alex Garland's sci-fi thriller Ex Machina (2015), starring Domhnall Gleeson, Oscar Isaac, and Alicia Vikander. The release will be available for purchase on July 14.
Technical specs and supplemental features to be included on this upcoming release have not yet been revealed.
Plot: Caleb, a gifted programmer at the world's largest Internet company, wins a competition to visit the private mountain retreat of Nathan, the reclusive CEO of the company. Caleb later learns he will have to participate in a strange experiment involving interaction with the world's first genuine artificial intelligence, housed in the body of a beautiful robot girl.
