Though the film has just been release in US theaters, planning is already underway to add BD-Live features to the Blu-ray release of '
Pineapple Express'. In an interview with Home Media Magazine, star Seth Rogan commented on some features that might be part of the eventual high definition release.
Rogan noted, "With Blu-ray you can actually download material onto the DVD, from the Internet. So, I think they are putting the video game and stuff on the Internet."
He also anticipates many of the deleted and alternate scenes from the film will make it on the Blu-ray release. This includes additional footage from the opening scene, and a deleted scene where Rogan's character meets up with his film nemisis' ex-wife.
'Pineapple Express' is in theaters now.
