British distributors Eureka Entertainment have revealed that they are planning to release on Blu-ray Samuel Fuller's
Forty Guns (1957), starring Barbara Stanwyck, Barry Sullivan, and Dean Jagger. Currently, the dual format release is set to arrive on the market on June 22.
Synopsis: Classic Western directed by Sam Fuller, starring Barbara Stanwyck as Jessica Drummond, an authoritarian rancher who rules Cochise County in Arizona with her private posse of hired guns, brushing aside the authority of the spineless sheriff, Ned Logan (Dean Jagger).
