20th Century Fox has released a new trailer for director Josh Trank's The Fantastic Four (2015), based on the Marvel Comics property of the same name. The film stars Miles Teller as Reed Richards, Kate Mara as Sue Storm, Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm, Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm, and Toby Kebbell as Victor Domashev, and arrives in US theaters on August 7th.
Synopsis: The Fantastic Four is a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel's original and longest-running superhero team, and centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.
The Fantastic Four is directed by Trank from a screenplay by producer/co-writer Simon Kinberg and Jeremy Slater. The film is being released in 2D and 3D.
