Cinram has announced that they have added Blu-ray lines to their reproduction facilities this summer in order to handle the anticipated Blu-ray surge this holiday season. They also confirmed that they would be handling the production of one of the most highly anticipated Blu-ray titles to be released this year, '
The Dark Knight'.
Dave Rubenstein, CEO of Cinram, commented, "As the attach rate grows … we expect [our Blu-ray demand] to get bigger. We've installed some more machinery to handle the fourth quarter needs."
