Disney chairman and CEO Bob Iger announced today that the studio will produce a sequel to the award-winning blockbuster
Frozen. Mr. Iger also confirmed that co-directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck will be involved with the project.
Frozen was released in 2013 and became one of the year's biggest hits, generating more than $1.2 billion in ticket sales.
The film also won Oscar Awards for Best Animated Feature Film of the Year and Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures, Original Song ("Let It Go").
