Acclaimed filmmaker Tim Burton will direct a remake of the classic animated film Dumbo. The live-action remake will be distributed by Disney.
According to early reports, the film will be a mixture of computer generated effects and live actors.
Disney has not yet revealed a theatrical release date for the remake.
Ehren Kruger (Transformers: Age of Extinction) and Justin Springer (Oblivion) are on board as producers. Kruger also wrote the script for the remake.
