Fox will develop an event series based on The Expendables films. According to Deadline, which broke the news, the series will be produced by Sylvester Stallone, the franchise's writer, producer Avi Lerner, and Shane Brennan.
The cast has not yet been finalized, but it has been confirmed that the series will be scripted by Greg Coolidge (Ride Along, Employee of the Month), Kirk Ward (Forrest Gump), and Brennan.
The Expendables, The Expendables 2, and The Expendables 3 are already out on Blu-ray, courtesy of Lionsgate Home Entertainment. Click on the links to see our listings and reviews of these releases.
