StudioCanal have sent us a short promo trailer for their upcoming Blu-ray release of Yann Demange's '71 (2014), starring Jack O'Connell, Sam Reid, and Sean Harris. The release will be available for purchase on March 9.
Synopsis: A young British soldier is accidentally abandoned by his unit following a riot on the streets of Belfast in 1971. Unable to tell friend from foe, and increasingly wary of his own comrades, the raw recruit must survive the night alone and find his way to safety through a disorientating, alien and deadly landscape. Winner of Prize of the Ecumenical Jury - Special Mention at the Berlin International Film Festival.
The film won Best Director award at the British Independent Film Awards, as well as The EE Rising Star Award Jack O'Connell at the BAFTA Awards.
