British distributors Artificial Eye have sent us a brand new clip from director Peter Strickland's latest film, The Duke of Burgundy (2014), starring Sidse Babett Knudsen, Monica Swinn, and Chiara D'Anna. The film will be released on Blu-ray on April 27.
In an unnamed European town, in an unspecified year, live Cynthia and Evelyn. Every day Evelyn cycles to Cynthia's mansion to work as a lowly maid – and every day the cruel, vindictive Cynthia inflicts countless sadistic humiliations upon her.
