1080p Screenshots Now Available

Since launching our 720p screen shots feature, the response has been absolutely great, but there were some of you who asked for 1080p so you could get a better idea regarding picture quality. Well, after some deliberation and testing of compression systems, we are happy to announce that Blu-ray.com is now offering the option of seeing 1080p screenshots.

When you are logged in to the site, simply click on "Site preferences" and then select "1080p screenshots". Click "Update settings" and you will now see 1080p screenshots (where available). If you are currently not a member, joining is fast and simple. Just click on "New Member" and fill out the necessary information.

Those of you who have slow Internet access will likely want to keep using the regular 720p screenshots as the larger 1080p screenshots can take quite a while to load. But for those of you who have faster Internet access, please enjoy this new feature.

After updating your Site Preferences, you can check out some 1080p screenshots now available for older reviews of movies such as 'I Am Legend' and 'Shoot 'Em Up and newer reviews of films such as 'Starship Troopers' and 'The Exorcism of Emily Rose'.
