Independent U.S. distributors Strand Releasing will release on Blu-ray Rick Castro and Bruce La Bruce's film Hustler White (1996), starring Tony Ward, Bruce La Bruce, and Kevin P. Scott. Newly remastered, Hustler White will be available for purchase on April 14.
Synopsis: Bruce LaBruce (OTTO, THE RASPBERRY REICH, GERONTOPHILIA) teams up with photographer Rick Castro in a wild re-imagining of SUNSET BOULEVARD set on the hot hustling scene of 90's Santa Monica Boulevard. Lovelorn anthropologist Jurgen Anger (Bruce LaBruce) heads to L.A. to research hustling as a social phenomenon, but after spotting angel-faced hustler Montgomery Ward (supermodel Tony Ward), he falls hopelessly in love. Featuring cameos by Ron Athey and Vaginal Davis, HUSTLER WHITE is a roller coaster ride of sex, money, depravity... and romance!
