Krzysztof Kieslowski's ten-part series
The Decalog will be remade by NBC. The project will be produced by Entertainment One.
According to Deadline, which broke the news, Todd Ellis Kessler (
The Good Wife) is writing and executive producing, with Stephen McPherson and Debra Stasson and Beata Pisula also executive producing.
Kieslowski's
The Decalog is based on the Ten Commandments and tells stories of human frailties, moral dilemmas and philosophical queries. According to early reports, the remake will be set in Boston and will explore similar issues.
