Synopsis: After the bombing of Pearl Harbor, mass hysteria breaks out in Southern California, while the bumbling crew of a Japanese sub searches for Hollywood and an "honorable" target to destroy. The film stars Dan Aykroyd, Ned Beatty, John Belushi, Lorraine Gary, Murray Hamilton and Christopher Lee.

Synopsis: Pete Sandich (Richard Dreyfuss) and buddy Al Yackey (John Goodman) are daredevil aerial forest-fire fighters. Pete finds true love with Dorinda (Holly Hunter) but when he takes one risk too many, he discovers that fate has other plans for him than a long and happy life with the woman he loves. The film also stars Brad Johnson, Audrey Hepburn and Roberts Blossom.

Duel
Synopsis: While traveling through the California desert for a business appointment, David Mann (Dennis Weaver) passes a smoky tanker truck. A game of cat-and-mouse quickly escalates into a life-and-death battle between David and the unseen trucker, with their vehicles as weapons. The film is based on a story by author Richard Matheson and co-stars Jacqueline Scott, Eddie Firestone, Lou Frizzell, Gene Dynarski and Lucille Benson.

Synopsis: A woman (Goldie Hawn) attempts to reunite her family by breaking her husband (William Atherton) out of prison and kidnapping their baby from his foster parents (Louise Latham and Merrill Connally). But things don't go as planned and they are forced to take a cop (Michael Sacks) hostage on the road. The film also stars Ben Johnson, Gregory Walcott and Steve Kanaly.
