Independent distributors Scorpion Releasing have confirmed that they will bring to Blu-ray Kevin Connor's film
The Land That Time Forgot (1975), starring Doug McClure, John McEnery, Susan Penhaligon, and Anthony Ainley. The release, which will be distributed by Kino Lorber, is scheduled to arrive on the market in June.
Synopsis: "The action is unremitting" (Films & Filming) in this "elaborate fantasy adventure" (Time) about a band of castaways who land on a mysterious island, only to realize it's already inhabited by hordes of carnivorous creatures! In order to escape with their lives, they must wage battle against deadly dinosaurs, fearsome sea monsters, soaring pterodactyls and marauding tribes of primitive humans!
