Deltamax Sees Blu-ray Success

Deltamax, the film distribution arm of CMC Magnetics, has announced that they have released 120 Blu-ray movies in Taiwan, which have generated more that 25,000 units sold. The company expects this number quadruple in 2009 as lowering player prices continue to increase the number of Blu-ray owners in that country.
In a joint conference with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, it was revealed that 5.64M Blu-ray titles have been sold globally this year, bring the total number of discs sold since the format launched to 11M.
