Kung Fu Panda Coming this Winter

Dreamworks Animation has revealed during a second quarter analyst call that they would release 'Kung Fu Panda' on Blu-ray this winter, but could not go into further details due to contractual obligations with Toshiba. Turns out that half of the second-quarter revenue generated by 'Kung Fu Panda', about $23M, was in the form of a direct contribution from Toshiba Corp in support of HD DVD.
Once those contractual obligations are lifted, Dreamworks will discuss more details about the upcoming Blu-ray release.
