Sony Pictures Classics has revealed that it will release on Blu-ray director Bennett Miller's latest project, Foxcatcher (2013), starring Channing Tatum, Steve Carell, and Mark Ruffalo. The preliminary release date set by the studio is February 17, 2015.
Synopsis: Foxcatcher is the true story of the murder of an Olympic wrestler by John du Pont. A paranoid schizophrenic and heir to the du Pont chemical fortune, John du Pont built a wrestling training facility called Team Foxcatcher on his Pennsylvania estate, where in 1996, he shot and killed Olympic gold medal-winning wrestler David Schultz. Police never established a motive for the crime, though Du Pont died last year in a Pennsylvania prison at the age of 72.
