The Cohen Media Gorup has sent us the official trailer for Oscar winning director Chuck Workman's new film Magician: The Astonishing Life and Work of Orson Welles. The film premiered at the Telluride Festival earlier this month, and will open at Lincoln Plaza and the Royal in Los Angeles on December 12th.
Synopsis: Magician: The Astonishing Life and Work of Orson Welles looks at the remarkable genius of Orson Welles on the eve of his centenary - the enigma of his career as a Hollywood star, a Hollywood director (for some a Hollywood failure), and a crucially important independent filmmaker.
Note: On November 4th, Cohen Media Group will also release on Blu-ray director Workman's documentary What is Cinema? (2013). You can see the official trailer for the film here.
