Sony Pictures Home Entertainment UK has announced the addition of four movies to its June release slate. Teen thriller 'Cruel Intentions' starring Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe; the Jack Nicolson and Tom Cruise military classic 'A Few Good Men'; the Halle Berry horror film 'Gothika'; and the Oscar Award-winning 'Jerry Maguire'. No specs have been announced, but the standard 1080p video with PCM audio is expected. We hope to receive more information on these titles as we get closer to the release date.
Cruel Intentions: Sarah Michelle Gellar (I Know What You Did Last Summer, Scream 2, TV's Buffy The Vampire Slayer) and Ryan Phillippe (I Know What You Did Last Summer, 54) sizzle as a pair of unscrupulous siblings in a deliciously sexy tale of seduction, revenge and conquest. A Few Good Men: Tom Cruise, Jack Nicholson and Demi Moore star in Rob Reiner's unanimously acclaimed drama about the dangerous difference between following orders and following one's conscience. Cruise stars as a brash Navy lawyer who's teamed with a gung-ho litigator (Moore) in a politically explosive murder case. Charged with defending two Marines accused of killing a fellow soldier, they are confronted with complex issues of loyalty and honor, including its most sacred code and its most formidable warrior (Nicholson). Superbly directed with a trio of powerhouse performances and an outstanding supporting cast including Kevin Pollak, Kiefer Sutherland and Kevin Bacon.
